Small Closed-Form Jar
A multi-purpose jar for keeping things under cover. Each of these jars were made on the pottery wheel as a single closed form, and then cut into a two-piece jar. The pieces are fired together and then dipped in colored underglaze together. The piece, including the interior of the lid and base, are finished with a clear glaze, allowing the layered color and the faint speckles of the grogged clay to show through.
Jar Dimensions: 2 - 3 in. diameter and 2 - 3.5 in. tall
Stoneware Information & Care
This piece was made by hand in Houston, TX and fired in an electric kiln to over 2200°F.
It is finished with food-safe glaze and is microwave and dishwasher safe.
We recommend using a coaster under vases and pieces with unglazed bottoms when filled with liquid to protect wood surfaces from condensation.
